POISON - Episode 3 - The boots of the devil
The tales of little Dario continue and the boy begins to mention the names of other people involved in what now seems to be an increasingly extensive network of pedophiles, active between Massa Finalese and Mirandola. The focus shifts to some families in the area. And shadows stretch over the figure of a parish priest.
Live Satanic mass music
What you are listening to is a satanic mass celebrated on 6/6/6 ... on June 6, 2006 in Los Angeles, California.
Ok Non The scene takes place in a room surrounded by twilight, where a man dressed as a priest enters, followed by some hooded people. The man reaches an altar, where two lit candles are placed. In the center of the shelf is a skull. On the altar there is a half-naked woman lying on her side. Above the woman stands a black flag with an inverted five-pointed star. Inside there is the threatening face of a billy goat. It is the pentagram. The symbol of Satan.
The man dressed as a priest takes a bell and rings it towards each of the four cardinal points. North. West. South. East. Still north.
Live: Ding Ding Ding Ding
Then he begins to celebrate the rite, which is very reminiscent of a Christian mass, even if Satan is celebrated and praised here.
Live: In our appointments, Satanas Luciferi Excelsi.
In the name of Satan, master of the earth, king of the world
I command the forces of darkness bestowed for the power upon us.
I command the forces of darkness brought to me tonight by the power over us.
Open wide the gates of hell! And come forward from the abyss ...
Open wide the gates of hell. You emerge from the abyss.
Greet us as your brothers, sisters and friends
Greet us as brothers, sisters and friends.
The devil is then called in all its forms and in all its names:
Live: Bast, Samayel, etc. etc.
Then a completely bald man climbs, with a black leather coat and a pair of long horns implanted under the skin of the skull and after a homily to the devil raises his sword to the sky screaming Live: my sacrifice through vengeance rests ... Hail Satan!
Live Chorus: Hail Satan!
"My sacrifice rests on revenge ... Hail Satan!".
There is a character in this whole affair whose name we have just mentioned, without however telling you much more. She is a 29 year old woman. He has short dark hair. He is a psychologist. Her name is Valeria Donati. Born in Fabriano in the late 60s, after graduating and specializing in cognitive psychology, in 1994 she found work at the social services of Mirandola and in a center in the province of Mantua, following some children and doing training courses for families who made themselves available to take them on.
Now, imagine her sitting in her study in Mirandola. It is a spring day in 1997. In front of her there is a boy, blond and with round glasses. It's Dario Galliera.
We already know why he is there: for a few weeks he has begun to tell that his natural parents Romano and Adriana and his brother Igor abuse him and that they take him to the home of a woman, Rosa and her partner Alfredo, who do the same things to him.
In addition to them, Dario continues to list one after another the names of monsters that the psychologist has long noted in his notes and that the police are trying to identify.
Valeria Donati asks the boy to make drawings. In one of these there are three devils without a leg or without an arm and with their mouths wide open showing sharp fangs .... The young psychologist observes the child carefully. He realizes that he is distracted, sometimes impatient. He feels his discomfort. He takes note of his silences ... and understands that behind those incomplete stories, in fits and starts, hides a terrified child full of secrets. And he senses the reality could be even worse. According to her, Dario is not the only victim of this round of pedophiles. There must be others too.
In fact, it doesn't take long before he brings out the names of two little girls: the first is three years old, with black bob hair and slightly almond-shaped eyes. Her name is Elisa Scotta.
His father, Federico Scotta, is a worker from Mirandola. Her mother Kaempet comes from Thailand. They met there a few years earlier, still very young.
We then moved to Italy here in Mirandola, I worked in a biomedical company ...
This is Federico Scotta.
We had Elisa in '94. It was born that she was fine, we were a young couple like many others, with a group of friends on a normal level, and with all the people who frequented us, who were still work colleagues, like neighbors ...
And among their neighbors in the same building in Via Pascoli in Mirandola, there is another little girl, Elisa's playmate, who lives alone with her mother. He is eight years old and his name is Marta.
Dario makes the name of both: the monsters hurt them too.
Valeria Donati is incredulous.
She also knows those two girls well, because they are already followed by the social services for which she works.
Dario's stories only confirm his idea: between the 20 km that divide Massa and Mirandola there is a network of pedophiles who takes the children to some apartments, films them and then enters the videotapes in a paid underground circuit.
In fact, the profiles of the two families of Elisa and Marta arouse many suspicions in Donati and her colleagues.
Let's start with Elisa: Her file at the social services of Mirandola had been opened a few weeks after her birth, in 1994, when the child had been brought by her parents Federico and Kaempet to the hospital, following a whole night spent screaming and to cry.
The doctors had immediately understood the seriousness of the situation: the baby had bruises, bruises and fractures, as if someone had beaten her wildly. The parents explained that the mother had been hurt by the countryman, who had long threatened her and made pressing economic demands.
"He had to work for her or he would take it back with my daughter" "What was your wife supposed to do?"
“He should have prostituted himself. My wife did not do this, indeed she somehow answered this lady badly ... "
... That one day, while at home, yet another refusal, he had taken the little girl throwing her against a wall.
Federico and Kaempet's version had not convinced the social services and the investigators, and Elisa had been immediately dismissed and entrusted to another family.
Federico Scotta and Kaempet claim to have succeeded later in demonstrating their estrangement from the mistreatment of the girl, even if we have not been able to find the papers to confirm this from this old court case.
The fact is, however, that after 3 years of rapprochement, the Scotta, in the spring of 1997, manage to get the baby back.
For them it is a new beginning: Elisa is finally at home and more recently Nicola, their second son, was also born.
Marta instead, the daughter of the neighbor who lives on the fifth floor of the same Palazzo degli Scotta, has a different story. We told you that she lives alone with her mother, whose name is Francesca Ederoclite. The woman has recently separated from her husband. It was a very stormy farewell, made of quarrels and reciprocal spite, so much to require the intervention of social services. Francesca, however, does not have a steady job and she and Scotta as good neighbors try to help each other as they can.
Here is Federico again
"She had always been a mother, a woman who has always been busy and in any case had a bond with her daughter which was not a strong bond but more, she would have given her daughter not life, but beyond, rather she did not eat her to try to give him an extra game, a shirt, something more. It was a relationship that however anyone could see, they were always together "
Francesca, Federico and their daughters hang out a lot. We are at the beginning of the summer of 97. I have some old pictures of them here. In a Marta she is lying on a white wall on the Riviera Romagnola with the sea behind her, with her arm around the neck of Elisa, who is smaller than her. In another Martha she is embraced by her mother Francesca, leaning against a lamppost. In this other one the two families are sitting around the table in the restaurant. They smile as they wait for the pizzas to arrive. There are toys on the table. They are shots that portray the seemingly peaceful life that families with young children do on the eve of the summer holidays.
But Federico Scotta, his wife Kaempet and their neighbor Francesca Ederoclite do not yet know that a few blocks away, Dario Galliera is talking about them. Until the dawn of July 7 when the police knock on their doors.
“At four forty in the morning they entered the house and searched everything that could be dismantled. They took two or three photographs of Elisa. So between one thing and another after all this hustle and bustle it was seven in the morning and like four pilgrims we headed to the police headquarters in Mirandola. When I got up to go and notify the deed, Elisa slept in my arms and Nicola slept in my wife's lap. We had to leave them on a stinking, putrid chair of the Mirandola police station. Nicola
we had to tie him in the stroller and they said "don't worry", when you go down to the maximum you can still see them.
Federico and his wife go up to the first floor of the police station to be heard by the investigators.
"Because they explained to us that from a minor from Massa Finalese ..."
... That is Dario….
“Some statements had been made and the judiciary had to evaluate whether we were accomplices
or less of this situation. I admit that my reaction was not the happiest, also because being accused of robberies is not nice, but violence is even worse "
At the end of the meeting, the couple returns to the waiting room where Elisa and her brother were sleeping.
“When we went down to the waiting room there was nothing left. The USL machine had already gone to take them away. "
"And you haven't seen them since?" "Since then, no."
After leaving the police station, Federico and Kaempet, who have not yet understood what is happening, meet a woman in tears. It is Francesca, their neighbor, Marta's mother.
Llive Scotta: "without knowing that we had gone there both had taken away our children on the same day, at the same time, on the same charge".
In the Repubblica archive of 1997 there are the news articles of the time. That morning Francesca Ederoclite had made a hysterical scene in front of the police headquarters, cutting her arms with razor blades and throwing herself in the cars in the middle of the road, only by a miracle avoiding being run over.
Dario, Marta, Elisa and Nick. The number of children removed from the social services of Mirandola and the Bologna Juvenile Court to families accused of pedophilia rose to four. The Scotta children are immediately relocated. Elisa returns to the foster family who had kept her after the first removal from the beatings. There is no news of his little brother Nick. Marta, on the other hand, is brought to another city, in Reggio Emilia, in a red brick building managed by some nuns. The Franciscan Cenacle. The name should tell you something. It is the first place where Dario Galliera was entrusted at 3 years of age, after the eviction of his parents and after living a few months with his neighbors.
Both girls are immediately taken to a Mangiagalli clinic in Milan. Her name is Cristina Maggioni. The doctor confirms that they have been abused. The Juvenile Court confirms the removal, and both the Scotta and Francesca Ederoclite end up in prison first, and then to house arrest.
Francesca, who found herself alone in her fifth floor apartment, is desperate.
We arrive on a Sunday. The home phone rings. My wife goes to answer it. And on the other side Francesca. Hi Francesca how are you, how are you not. He had a very strange voice. Almost drunk, I don't know. "I loved you so much, I'm sorry that things end like this." Goodbye. And he closed the phone.
Federico and his wife Kaempet, alarmed, call the police.
And the moment they were entering they saw Francesca climb over the fifth floor balcony….
And fly down.
The case of abuse in the lower Modena area opens with the launch into the void of a mother. It will be only the first of a series of deaths. But for Mirandola's psychologists and social workers, Francesca Ederoclite's suicide is only confirmation of her guilt.
According to Dario's testimony, in fact, the woman and her neighbors, the Scotta family, also brought their children to apartments between Massa Finalese and Mirandola, where they handed them over to strangers for a few hours in exchange for money.
Dario refers in particular to an episode that occurred the previous Christmas. He says that Francesca had brought him and Marta to the home of a pedophile from Massa, whose name was Giorgio. And when Valeria Donati asked him who he was, he identified him as "a mayor", who lives in the house "near the bell tower".
A man about 1,70 tall, with dark gray hair, with glasses, a little plump. He adds that he wore "heeled" shoes.
Dario is very afraid of this Giorgio and also of Francesca, because he says that he witnesses the violence without doing anything.
Investigators do checks. The mayor of Massa is not called Giorgio and does not correspond to the description made by Dario. Manhunt starts.
The alleged gang members already identified in the meantime end up on trial. Their stories have been in the newspapers for several weeks now. Romano and Adriana Galliera, their son Igor, their friends Maria Rosa Busi and Alfredo Bergamini, all from Massa, and the two families of Mirandola, Federico and Kaempet Scotta and the late Francesca Ederoclite. Eight people. Seven indictments.
With this first restricted group the so-called Pedophile Procedure of the Bassa opens. Now, I tell you right away that the judicial history of this story is very, very intricate and absolutely non-linear. So I will be forced to simplify it in order to make it understandable to everyone.
The process that is about to begin will last almost 17 years and more than twenty people will enter it, at different times and in different contexts. Each of them will have its own story and destiny.
What they all have in common is the accusations made by the children.
Pressed by the investigators, the defendants continue to deny everything ..
The only one who admitted some facts was Igor who had confessed that he had been touched by Dario, according to him on the advice of the lawyer, to avoid a too harsh sentence.
We are at the end of summer 1997, Dario has not seen his natural family for 6 months. His foster mother Antonia takes him twice a week to the psychologist Valeria Donati. Dario now knows her well and trusts her, so much so that she confesses things that she cannot say to her mother.
In fact, one day he takes courage and tells Valeria what happened the night, when the Galliera woke him up, put him in the car and took him to a cemetery.
Here is what Valeria Donati tells Andrea Claudiani, the PM assigned to the case:
Dario said that "they had a funeral for the children", which he suspected was "fake", although he was not sure. He added that he, Elisa and Marta had been closed by the grown-ups in a chest that had a cross on it; and that they had cried because they were very afraid because inside the boxes "it was dark and he could not get out because the lid was too heavy". Dario said that in this way they had all been "transformed into children of the devil " and that the grown-ups had told him that "the devil is in heaven and takes all the fire". He also said that "the mayor with the tunic" was present at this fact, and that while the children were in the boxes, the grown-ups from outside felt themselves laughing.
Since the boy was visibly terrified, Antonietta adds I asked him what frightened him. Dario said they had frightened him when they told him he would "burn in hell."
At the cemetery there were all the defendants, disguised as ferocious animals: the Rose was the tiger, Francesca the panther, Federico Scotta the Vampire, Alfredo Bergamini the devil. Once the fake is celebrated
funeral Dario says that the adults had beaten the children, then forcing them to beat each other. And he says they gave him a black cat to kill. He had failed and his brother, Igor, had finished him with a knife.
And to direct this spectral rite there is again him, Giorgio, the faceless mayor who lives next to the bell tower.
And the mayor defines him because he is the person who clearly has authority over him.
This was Pierfrancesco Rossi, one of the first lawyers to enter the trial, defender of the Galliera.
But during the meetings with the psychologist, who in the meantime is also joined by the investigators, Dario begins to have doubts. On the other hand, he is only seven years old.
Maybe he's not a mayor, maybe he's a doctor.
"But are you sure he's a doctor?" Asks Valeria Donati, "the doctor doesn't have a tunic, the doctor has a lab coat."
And who is it that has the tunic and lives near the bell tower? Will not the priest be?
Live Avv Rossi:
And the person who in addition to all evidence is a person he knows must necessarily be Don Giorgio Govoni.
Do you remember that?
Donati knows Don Giorgio very well….
Live Avv Rossi:
"Because Don Giorgio Govoni has given the house to his parents and continues to assist them ... and that's why automatically the mayor becomes the priest."
An unsuspected, beloved man, always on the go with his famous white van.
Everyone in the municipalities of the Bassa Modenese knows him. Until then no one had ever suspected that he led a group of Satanist pedophiles.
What is Satanism? Most of us know this phenomenon only through clichés that come from popular culture. We all have a more or less common imagery of the phenomenon. But it is a hazy imagery, a sort of mosaic made up of flashes of horror films that we have seen, or paintings we have come across in a book or museum, or rituals that we have read or heard about on TV.
Live: mix of words "Satanism", "Satanic", "Satanic", "Satan" ...
Satan is one of the names by which we identify evil. The devil. It is a name of ancient Jewish origin, which literally means "adversary". It appears in the Old Testament at the beginning of the third chapter of Genesis in the form of a snake, when it convinces Eve to try Adam's forbidden fruit. But it is the Apocalypse to tell the origins of this character, the head of the angels, who after rebelling against God, ends up thrown on Earth.
The apostle John describes him as a black beast with two lamb horns on his head.
And he attributes to it a number, the six hundred and sixty six, which represents a hidden sequence of letters: the name of a man. According to one of the interpretations of the Hebrew cabal, the crypted syllables would produce the sequence Caesar Neron: the great Roman persecutor Nero.
One of the greatest experts of Satanism in Italy and in the world is the sociologist Massimo Introvigne, who has published several books on the subject including a tome of over six hundred pages called "Satanism, a Social History", considered one of the most thorough and complete readings In circulation.
Obviously I won't be telling you all about them, but the most interesting thing is that Introvigne divides the Satanists into four categories, or quadrants, as he calls them. The first two, those of the so-called rationalists and occultists,
Live Introvigne: They are not actually evil worshipers, they would be very offended if someone told them that they worship evil ...
Live Introvigne: Satan or Lucifer are the symbol of freedom
... that they celebrate with rituals similar to theatrical performances ...
Live: to free yourself from the centuries-old conditioning of religion that prevents you from enjoying the three great pleasures of life: sexuality, power and money.
Just like the followers of the Church of Satan, the Church of Satan founded in California by Anthony LaVey in 1966, whose mass you heard at the beginning of this episode. (satanic mass audio background). It is a real organization, with a statute and a seat like those of many other religious groups.
But then there are also two other categories, certainly more dark. That of the so-called "anticosmic" satinasts ...
Live Introvigne ... People who instead worship Satan because they worship evil, and this is a relatively recent phenomenon that basically develops within an extreme fringe of Black Metal.
... especially in Sweden and Norway, where in the 90s there were a series of church fires and murders committed by members of some local bands, such as that of Gorgoroth.
Live: Then I would add another quadrant, which is the one where the most dangerous crimes have developed, that is, I speak of groups of minors with sometimes some adults who do a DIY satanism, they offer homemade cocktails of sex, drugs and rituals do it yourself that are sometimes lethal.
All the murders, about twenty that in the last quarter of a century that have affected the world of Satanism in the last quarter of a century, have matured in this environment.
One of the most striking cases in Italy was that of the Beasts of Satan, a group of young Satanists in the province of Varese, who between 1998 and 2004 killed three of their peers and led to a fourth suicide.
Introvigne, however, explains that in truth, unlike what we tend to believe, Satanism is a very limited phenomenon.
Live: every time something happens there is someone who says that there are 8000 satanic sects in Italy, I always ask him to provide me with the list.
In reality it is estimated that these groups of acid satanists are very few and being clandestine nobody really knows if there are and how many they are.
Between 1997 and 1998, however, Valeria Donati, her psychologist colleagues, the police, the PM Andrea Claudiani and the judge for preliminary investigations Alberto Ziroldi have just found one, in the heart of the Bassa Modenese and the tentacles of this organization seem to have really arrived everywhere.
On the morning of March 16, 1998, some social workers from Mirandola entered the primary school of Massa Finalese and took away another girl. It is the fifth. We will call her Margherita. She is the daughter of a couple, Santo and Maria Giacco.
Live: Pablo gets out of the car ... opens the door, walks and calls "Saint! How are you? Everything good?".
Very well. Bah, let's move on. What do you say?
What should one say? Go on
What fruit do you have? I only have peaches. Because now I'm giving the fruit away. Then I have the vegetables. Do you want vegetables?
The Giacco are Neapolitans. Maria is from Casoria, Saint of Afragola. They arrived in Massa Finalese in 1976. Maria is a housewife, Santo runs a fruit stall.
In 1998 they already have six children, 4 females and two males, and also a few granddaughters. Margherita is their youngest daughter, the latest arrival. He is 9 years old and occasionally plays with a classmate. One day this companion tells her mother that Margherita occasionally makes explicit references to sex, as if she had seen something inside her house. Mum immediately goes to talk to the school principal, who contacts Mirandola's social services. Parents know nothing. After taking the little girl to school that morning, Santo returns home.
Live Santo Giacco:
They came ... I was taking a shower. They knock: "police". They were plainclothes commissioners. "What happened?".
The Giaccos learn that the daughter was taken away from school, without any other explanation. Maria, the mother, begins to get excited.
"And I said where is my daughter? I want my daughter. And they said "don't worry, your daughter is fine", "her daughter like this" ...
“The world fell on us, because all of a sudden we were convinced that they had kidnapped her.
This is Antonella, the oldest daughter of the Giacco family
Someone who had taken her away from school. Because my mom couldn't explain, then ... "
The policemen do not add anything else on Margherita, but inform Father Santo that they are there mainly for another reason:
Live Santo: "You did a robbery with your wife." "My wife?"
"Yes, his wife brought the car and she went inside"
At first Margherita's departure seems to be a consequence of the robbery made by her parents. Santo Giacco, however, does not believe in that accusation made against him and his wife by the police ...
“But maybe you have seen some movies? She doesn't even have a license, not even the bicycle can carry "
The house is searched and Santo at that point notices something that currently cannot be explained ...
But you know, if I had done the robbery, as they said, why are you going to get the tapes?
Giacco refers to a closet full of videotapes that he keeps in his bedroom. After noticing them by searching the house, the police had seized them and taken them all away.
“I said mah, there is something wrong. If I did the robbery, what do the videotapes have to do with it?
But videotapes of what?
So, since I have a mess of videotapes of Hercules, Maciste, warriors, that stuff there, they take all the stuff and take us to the barracks. "
The couple is split
Live Maria: “They locked him inside one room, me inside another. They wanted to know who was washing the girl. I did “I wash my baby. I have six children ... "
Live Santo: "They begin to say" his wife leaves alone at home with the baby ... "I told him come in conclusion, what do you want?".
The Giacco are informed that in reality there has never been a robbery, it was just an excuse to bring them to the barracks without problems. The real reason they are there is that there is a strong suspicion that Margherit, their youngest daughter, has been sexually abused. And there is a strong suspicion that he suffered them from a depraved person within their family. While they are talking, the cops often use a term that Santo and Maria have never heard.
"Pedofono, pedofono, that I did:" what is this pedofono thing "?
It is the first time that I hear this word, pedophony. What is pedophony? They said to me: when one rapes children. Violent children? I know they called it maniech ... "
A few hours later, the Giacco return home, dazed. Margherita, however, is not with them. They don't know where he is, they don't know who he is with. And above all, they still don't understand what happened.
"I went to social services every day, I screamed ...
They said to me "lady until we get the notice we can't do the job"
"So you didn't know why she was taken away?" "No, nothing"
The Prosecutor of Modena, meanwhile, asks that the girl be brought to visit by a doctor from Milan. Cristina Maggioni, the same who has already visited Mirandola's two neighbors, Elisa and Marta. The outcome of the visit is the same: signs of abuse are found.
Margherita is immediately taken to a family home near Reggio Emilia.
And a few months later, in June, his stories will confirm Maggioni's diagnosis.
Dad and mom often took her to a bar in Finale Emilia. The little girl stayed there, sometimes alone, waiting for them. Until one day a man who can't identify the door in the bathroom. And where were your parents? Did it only happen once? Margherita still doesn't remember. It is difficult to talk about it.
Valeria Donati tries to encourage her, to help her. Just like he did with Dario and Marta, finally managing to have precise and detailed stories.
A few months after being taken to the Franciscan Cenacle, Marta also started talking.
The little girl learned that mum Francesca committed suicide and starts talking about her.
She hadn't been a good mother. He had sold it to sexual maniacs in Massa Finalese and Mirandola. And not only to them, but also to their neighbor, Federico Scotta. The stories are enriched, session after session. They are detailed, precise, rich in details. The girl is taking courage. It is slowly opening up. It is revealing the secrets of that dark and diabolical world and its followers.
Yes, she was also in the cemeteries together with Dario and little Elisa. Her mother Francesca took it to us at night and offered her body to other men and women disguised as animals. Martha says that she also saw the corpses unearthed. He doesn't understand what all this is for. He's afraid. Then he closes and can no longer go on with the stories.
Valeria Donati gives her time and focuses on Dario and Margherita, the Giacco's daughter.
Until the latter takes a step forward: it was not only the mysterious man in the bar in Finale who abused her. His father, Santo, was also there.
The children who accuse their parents are 3 out of 5. Elisa and Nik Scotta, on the other hand, are too young to speak and be considered credible. But Dario, Marta and Margherita are.
And so even the Giacco family finds themselves in trouble.
Then when he heard "pedophilia", how the fuck you say that word, my father collapsed. But he collapsed because he felt dirty.
Have you ever put your hands on your daughter? Ask her. Ask her.
No, I ask you I want an answer from you.
You have to ask all my children what father I was and that's all.
We ask Antonella
How did your father treat you?
From god. So much that he cared, that it bothered him even if we went to the bathroom with his mother ... if we went to the bathroom in two ... because he cared about honesty.
do you know what I was saying? You don't allow yourself because I take your head off. He has to go to the bathroom one at a time. Or if male or if it is female. We come from Afragola, a shit country. A country that our fathers, our parents, our grandparents, have learned to us that education as it should, with children and cousins and with all families.
And I allowed myself to do such a thing? But I threw myself under a train! And then these things didn't really come here. I didn't even understand them. About my children? Are we joking? We are talking about children, we are not talking about ants.
Santo Giacco is not believed. Six months after Margherita's removal, the carabinieri go to pick him up at home. They have an arrest warrant. His daughter's stories depict him not only as a serial abuser, but also as the head of the sect that takes children to cemeteries. The prison doors are opened for him.
Then when it happened that they took my father away, we panicked there afterwards. Then after the crises began to come ...
To my mom What crisis?
Crisis that we believed that she had gone crazy
Even once I had to call the ambulance and we had to put on a straitjacket.
Eh because they had taken my sister away, they had taken my father away, then after all suddenly we started to see that people were starting to come and they were carrying. they took away the furniture, they took away this ... we found something ...
But you say the police who came to search?
No no no, those who had to get the money from my father, who then my father was no longer at home, we could not pay and therefore we found ourselves all over and she went into crisis.
Live Maria: I no longer knew what I had to do, what was happening to me, I had gone mad.
I wanted my daughter and husband. I wanted to know what had happened.
In jail the Galliera, Maria Rosa Busi, Alfredo Bergamini, Federico Scotta and Santo Giacco ask themselves the same question.
Live Santo- Federico
I found myself in prison, I don't know why ..
The worst thing is when you feel the prison doors closed, you leave one world to enter another world. Where, in that world, inmates judge themselves the person they are dealing with.
The prisoners you know when they have one for this thing here, they make you an ass like this .. Certainly it was not a good fit.
So I explained the story a bit, then the prisoners don't know assholes .. they see people in the face, he says noo ..
Federico Scotta begins to convince himself that behind this hunt for pedophiles there is in reality only a far more subtle design, which sees the complicity of psychologists, social workers and judges.
The same doubts come to Santo Giacco. It is a priest who puts the flea in his ear
There was a priest in prison, Sunday came ... Santo said do you believe that how many children who take from morning to night, to do a business on children .. pay 300 euros a day, is all a business of money.
Ok. But could it really have happened? What did Santo Giacco and Federico Scotta do to their children?
Today Scotta is 42 years old. He is a security guard and lives in Bologna, where he shares a small apartment with students. He divorced his Thai wife and has no idea where his children are ... After 20 years, 12 of whom spent in prison, he continues to deny any accusation and proclaim his own innocence and that of all the other defendants.
Have you ever done anything you're accused of? No absolutely no .. never
Do you know people who may have done these things? As far as I have seen, I don't think so
LIVE SCOTTA: Not having a child or not having children is not that constructed expression, that is, it is something that you are alive but you are dead inside. The expression, the sadness in their eyes was not from actors….
I leave the house of Federico Scotta, and get back in the car. Together with me is Alessia Rafanelli, the co-author of Veleno.
We remain silent for a while, but in the head we are asking ourselves the same questions. Is the man we just talked to ... really a pedophile? One who rapes children? His, in addition? And above all: is it something you can understand by simply looking it in the eye? It is a meaningless dilemma. But after spending a few hours with someone accused and convicted of that stuff, you can't help thinking about it.
LIVE MACHINE PABLO-ALESSIA
What do you say? mmmm..I would never say he is a pedophile ...
Simply that person you see is not the person who described the cards ... If he did what they say he is an Oscar-winning actor, an Oscar-winning actor.
Let's go back to Valeria Donati's studio in Mirandola.
Dario is again in front of her, for yet another interview. It is 29 October 1998.
The boy is about to make a revelation that will trigger panic. Shortly before being dismissed from his natural family, his father Romano, during a satanic rite in a cemetery, had put a knife in his hand and guided him in the killing of a child.
