Vaccine Report 2013 - Postmarketing surveillance in Italy

The Italian Medicines Agency makes available the fourth Report on the postmarketing surveillance of vaccines in Italy - year 2013, which continues the activity aimed at providing feedback to reporters and all healthcare workers working in the field of vaccines.
The first part describes the main events that affected vaccines in 2013. The following parts show the processing carried out on the spontaneous reports of suspected adverse reactions recorded in the national network pharmacovigilance, observed after administration of vaccines.
In both sections some regional experiences are also presented. In the third part an update on active surveillance activities is provided.
At the end of the report there is a short list of articles by Italian authors/groups regarding vaccines, published during 2013.
